The Second Most Beautiful Game in the World

I'm happy David Stern and his band of NBA referees decided to pull the plug on the season tonight (although it appears ESPN "journalist" Stephen A. Smith is just getting started with a daring summer story about how racism permeates everything in life--from the food we eat to the air we breathe). Anyway, now that the NBA season is officially over, I can focus on the most beautiful game in the world that isn't called college football.

Did you acquire your love for soccer in Guatemala, or have you always been a fan? Either way, the Chapines would be proud.

Soccer was the first sport I ever played. Plus, my best friend's dad was BYU's soccer coach in the 80's. So I got to hang around the team and go to soccer camps from an early age.

Who are you supporting? Or are you enjoying one of America's many freedoms, including the ability to pick a different country every four years?

I'm pulling for Holland, although I'd like to see Portugal stay alive just to see Ronaldo. The only remaining team that I really hate is Italy.
